Cover design for zine featuring projects that were displayed at the Graduate Show 2018-19 of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Alt + yd a student initiative zine featuring projects that explore alternative design practices. The cover artwork represents the idea of  unconventional projects which the zine is about.

 

The idea of the projects being not sticking to the norms is represented through boxes, where few boxes take a different path and experiment to become different shapes instead of being conventional. The second concept was inspired by light bending through a prism. The bending of light in a different way other than its usual one shows risks and trying out something new.
